Inspired by forms that loop back on themself - this bench was developed from poplar wood to be both a place to sit and store goods such as shoes.

Commissioned by a clothing boutique in Vancouver, BC - I was asked to develop some new pieces to fit with their unique clothing store. Motivated by raw materials, the owners had asked me to build both their front till and jewelry case for their second flagship store.

Given a precedent of smoke - the goal of this project was to create a tectonic logic to assemble a system that was reflective of the precedent.
